Original Works Inc. is a non-profit company who opened its doors in 1999 serving youths from the Bridgeport region providing substantive arts experiences in dance, music, theater and film while the participants work with professional artists in creating, developing, and performing original artistic products.
Our mission has been to offer young people the opportunities to use their creative spirit, to develop their artistic talents, and to work with others in creating new works of art. We are committed to unrestricted artistic expression while training each student dance, music, theater and movie making skills and the discipline needed for their success.
Our goals are to expand the various forms of artistic endeavors that we offer our youth, to develop new artworks through the youth’s voice and innovative youth development activities, and to increase community partnerships through networking.
